Lindsey has a keen interest in the relationship between printmaking, and photography. She carries a camera everywhere and likes to capture the influence of light on both natural and manmade environments. Lindsey's work highlights how digital technology has greatly contributed to the enthusiasm, interest and renewal of antiquated photographic processes with a particular focus on photogravure.
Since her research fellowship, looking at the role of the computer in fine art printmaking; integrating different print/photographic processes has always influenced the direction of her work. Lindsey works predominantly with photopolymer - experimentally combining the technique with chine colle and archival inkjet. She enjoys a technical challenge combined with the unpredictable nature of printmaking.
Lindsey has a work space at Hub Studios which is located in Northern Lights - Cains Brewery Village in the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool.
